Build a Website

Couture Cocktail Dress…unfinished as it needs its Swarovski Crystals!

Okay…well with very limited funds to not only get this project off the ground but to budget for its success I have decided not to pay the very reasonable fee of £370 to have a web site designed but to have a go myself.

It is a cut-and-paste template that comes with the hosting which I would have been buying anyway (about £200 for the year) and it seems much easier than the last time I tried and failed.

So that is £370 to put towards wages…really do have to think before you spend.

The Design and Sewing Studio needs a beautiful site which will allow me to show all the fabulous things we are doing and the great people we are collaborating with but it does not need to be an all-singing-all-dancing ecommerce site…. that will come later when we launch are first collection.

I have established a holding page, a twitter link, a Linkedin link and a link to this blog and the templates they have will allow me to create the look and feel I want…let me know what you think when it is up and running next month…you can check it out on the link below: –

Annie Keki

As a designer I enjoy the time I spend developing ideas and creating beautiful things. As a human being I enjoy the time I spend developing myself.
