An Exciting New adVenture In Our Studio

The Design and Sewing Studio is an exciting new facility based in Mossley, Greater Manchester and from June 2014 is planning to offer a fully fitted commercial fashion studio for hire to small and start-up businesses who wish to manufacture their own collections or samples but who do not have or need a permanent manufacturing facility. The studio can be hired on a day or weekly basis and provides a wonderfully creative environment with industrial flatbed, overlock, coverstitch and blind hem machines together with many Kennett and Lindsell fitting forms, full size cutting tables, leather craft sewing machine and many other facilities.

The Design and Sewing Studio will also offer courses in leather craft, accessories, sewing and other crafts, these will be run by the Studio or a group may hire the space to run their own courses.

This is a fully working studio with a heavy workload so the facility is not offering a permanent base for other businesses it is designed to give designers who only occasionally need full manufacturing facilities the opportunity to access a fully working studio to manufacture their collections to their own specifications and save on CMT costs.

The Design and Sewing Studio is also offering a fantastic opportunity for two new apprenticeships as we intend to take two gifted and enthusiastic apprentices under our wing and show them that hard work in a creative industry can be both enjoyable and profitable.  We are fully committed to adding to the small but burgeoning fashion industry and building a brand made entirely in England with the quality and attention to detail that lifts everything we do to the artisan level.
