First Small Step – We Completed Our First Commissioned Work

I have been very quite this week and that is because I have been literally working every waking hour of the clock.  The Design And Sewing Studio, a project not due to open until June 2014 has just completed it first commissioned work.

It was unexpected and not what we imagined our first work would be, that’s self employment, you are not always certain where the enquiries will come from or what they will be for.  So it was not fashion, not a cocktail dress but a website and within a sector totally unrelated to clothing.

However we are very proud of our finished work and more importantly the client is, their feedback being:

I LOVE!!! what you’ve done and I feel soooooo motivated.

It bodes well for the project over all and we expect to get additional work as a result.  The tiny little business that is The Design And Sewing Studio is ahead a schedule.
