Calm

It is a pleasure to have the time simply to be and in recent weeks I have enjoyed that pleasure.  The designs are evolving beautifully and the other day on route to the studio this beautiful mist was creeping over Saddleworth; a moor so shrouded in sadness briefly stealing a moment of respite from its negative overtones.  Had the trusty Sony and just snapped through the open window…. did stop the car first!

Have recently returned from Italy, a fab trip, and as always inspirational from a work point of view.  Ordered some woven labels for the knitwear.  Building the new site next month, it will not be going live until February 2015 but will just have the holding page up and build it ready for launch.  Also been thinking of photography…. always a really difficult area to perfect when you are on a budget. It all seems very close now, the number of details both big and minuscule floating about within. Been thinking of how to get the attention of the people I want to reach, again not a simply task but one I am confident with a little creative thought and a lot of creative work I will achieve.

The S/S collection is the acid test and one I am looking forward to.
