Beautiful…

The studio space is almost ready, we love it and are starting to find our feet and how best to use the space.  We are busy preparing for and testing our first courses, ensuring we pack in all the information we want at a pace that works for our learners.  Next month we will be sampling the first pieces for the children’s collection due in September.  It has been wonderful developing some of the surface pattern ideas with artists and printers to ensure our unique fabric designs work beautifully on the human form.  You have to factor in fluidity of movement when you want the surface pattern to work best in motion.  The passion and love we weave into our couture pieces will be present in every garment we make.  When a child puts on a jacket or a dress we want them to feel as fantastic and individual as they are.  That excitement the perfect piece of crafted clothing can instil is part of why we go through the design and development stages.  The blazer we make for a 10 year old will be tailored from the finest British wool and inspire the wearer to express themselves with confidence.  When we say love is woven into everything we create, we really mean it.
